Portfolio and reported acquisitions

In its April 30, 2026 Form C-AR, FG Communities reported owning more than 80 manufactured housing communities containing approximately 3,100 developed sites in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia ². Sponsor announcements mark the platform's expansion. On June 9, 2025, the company reported its 50th acquisition, an 82-homesite community on approximately 12 acres in Candler, North Carolina, alongside 50 properties and more than 2,000 homesites owned or pending acquisition ⁵. On March 27, 2026, it reported acquiring three manufactured housing communities in Greenville, South Carolina totaling 75 homesites and a portfolio of 80 properties with over 3,500 homesites owned or pending acquisition ⁶. On July 31, 2026, it reported acquiring a 119-homesite manufactured housing community in Wilkesboro, North Carolina and a portfolio of 93 properties with over 4,000 homesites owned or pending acquisition ⁷.

Ownership and control

FG Financial Group announced the formation and initial funding of FG Communities on November 22, 2022 in partnership with Fundamental Global, stating that both had allocated capital to the company ⁸. The Form C-AR reports that FG Holdings held one share of Founders Preferred Stock and approximately 7.8 million shares of common stock, representing the largest percentage of the company's voting securities, and that Founders Preferred holders hold the voting power to elect and remove directors, with no director elected or removed without their approval ². On May 4, 2026, FG Nexus disclosed that a newly formed special committee would initially evaluate a potential business combination with FG Communities, described as a related-party transaction because FG Communities was founded by the FG Nexus chairman and chief executive officer and was controlled by several persons including Kyle Cerminara, and stated that discussions were preliminary and no decisions or agreements had been reached ⁹.
