About Black Creek Exchange
Black Creek Exchange was the 1031 exchange platform operated through Black Creek Exchange LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the taxable REIT subsidiary within Black Creek Diversified Property Fund's operating-partnership structure. The operating partnership began its DST program in March 2016, raising capital through private placements of beneficial interests in Delaware statutory trusts that held specific real properties, and reported $20.8 million of interests sold under the program as of June 30, 2018. Ares Management completed its acquisition of Black Creek Group's U.S. real estate investment advisory and distribution business on July 1, 2021, and the entity was later identified as Ares Diversified Real Estate Exchange LLC.
