IRC/RCX Real Property Schaumburg DST sold its only asset, a CarMax auto superstore at 250 East Golf Road in Schaumburg, Illinois, on December 13, 2024. Cook County assessor records name the Trust as owner of record; a Compass listing and the seller's broker page put the closing price at $31.8 million. The store was built in 1997 and sits on a 22.45-acre lot, and it had been listed for sale on September 3, 2024.

The offering behind the purchase filed its Form D on September 13, 2018 under Rule 506(b), with the equity raise capped at $20.377 million and a minimum investment of $406,000. It held the single Schaumburg property throughout.

IRC/RCX Real Property Schaumburg Manager, the Trust's sponsor, has not reported a total return, annualized return, or equity multiple for the offering. The closing price is what the public record carries. The sale is the first full-cycle disposition on the sponsor's record.
